Sofie’s Tuxedo Blazer Weekend Set digital PDF pattern is designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®, Sofie Clareese Doll Fashion is not affiliated with American Girl®, Mattel® or any other doll or toy manufacturer. No endorsement is implied.
Pattern includes unlined Blazer with back kick pleat, Midriff Top with Velcro back and Cuffed Pants in two lengths (Capri or Ankle).
The top and pants can be made in knit or a woven stretch fabric (such as stretch denim), the waistband and cuffs must be ribbed knit.
The Dress is unlined and made of knit fabric with armscye and neckline facings.

SUGGESTED FABRICS
Blazer
Fabrics that drape well, such as cotton, light weight suiting, linen, Chambray and other similar fabrics.
Top and Pants
Soft woven fabric such as a light weight stretch denim or medium weight, moderate stretch knit. Must use Rib knit or stretch knit for waistband and cuffs.
Dress
Cotton knit fabric with moderate stretch and good retention.
SUPPLIES
- Blazer – 3/8 Yd Fashion Fabric
- Pants/Top – 1/4 Yd Fashion Fabric
- Dress - 1 piece 18 inches wide by 11 inches long (fold to 9 inch wide by 11 inches long)
- Pants - Waistband/Cuffs – 1/8 Yd Ribbed Knit
- Closure Top – H&L tape (3-1/2 inch long, 1/4 or 3/8 inch wide)
- Dress - 6 inch H&L tape partial back closure or 10 inches for full back opening.
(Extra length included for H&L tape needed)
Optional:
- Fabric Glue Stick
- Non-stick sewing machine needles (Schmetz Super Nonstick
- Needles/Universal/70-10)
- Spray starch (Mary Ellen Best Press works great for this purpose)
