This adorable dress can be made with either a charming fox face or a cute cat face. This pattern works best with a mid-weight fabric and will fit dolls with a maximum chest measurement of 11½ inches.

Skill Level: Beginner and Intermediate Options
Tools and Materials:
- Less than ¼ yard of mid-weight cotton or blends for the main fabric (e.g. baby-wale corduroy, quilting cotton, faux suede,
- 7” x 7” of lining fabric
- Small pieces of felt
- 5 sew-in snaps, OR
- 1¾ inches by ½ inch pieces of hook and loop tape
- Fabric glue
- Sharp/universal needle
- Matching thread
- Marking pens to trace pieces – heat removable, chalk etc.
- Hand sewing needle
- Optional – basting spray, glue stick or similar
Felt color suggestions for the Fox:
- Orange/Orangey Brown for the top of the face
- White for the bottom of the face
- Black for the nose and eyes
- Cream or light pink for the inner ears
Felt color suggestions for the Cat:
- White, Grey or orange for the face
- Black for the eyes
- Light pink for the inner ears and nose
