High Low Ruffle Skirt 18 Inch Doll Sewing Pattern
This PDF pattern will allow you to make a Steampunk High Low Ruffle Skirt for your 18 inch dolls. This pattern is part of the KeLibu Steampunk Separates Collection and can be mixed and matched with other KeLibu Steampunk patterns.
Ruffled skirts are a staple of steampunk fashion and a great way to add neo-Victorian style to an outfit. This asymmetrical design has a high front and lower back, with a full ruffle running around the entire bottom.
You can choose to make the ruffle with the same fabric as the skirt, a contrasting fabric or with a single layer of gathered lace.
With an elastic waist and two different sizes to choose from, the skirt can be made to fit dolls with a variety of measurements!

Tools and Materials:
Fabric Ruffle
- 2/3 yard of fashion fabric* or 1/3 yard for the main skirt pieces and 1/3 yard coordinating fabric for the ruffle.
- 6½ x 2½ inches of fusible interfacing
- 10 – 12 inches of ⅜ inch elastic
- Matching thread
- Sharp or microtex needle (depending on fabric choice)
Lace Ruffle
- 0.3 yard of fashion fabric*
- ¼ yard lace fabric
- 6½ x 2½ inches of fusible interfacing
- 10 – 12 inches of ⅜ inch elastic
- Matching thread
- Sharp or microtex needle (depending on fabric choice)
