Choose a quarter yard of fabric in a woven fabric like cotton for best results, but many other fabrics will work too. This simple design lets you mix and match fabrics and trims for a new look each time you sew.

Tools and Materials:

• 1/4 yard of fabric (quilting cotton or other lightweight fabric- Fat quarter friendly!) 
  
• (Optional) Contrast fabric scrap for center panel 
  
• 4 inches of hook and loop tape (I use 1/4th-3/8th inch widths.) 
  
• (Optional) 1/4 inch or smaller buttons, ribbons, bows, appliques, ric rac, lace, piping, heat transfer vinyl or other embellishments 
  
• Basic sewing supplies (machine, scissors, thread, pins)
